IGEA is proud to have successfully realized the first activity of the PeriNext Project in Bursa, Türkiye together with experts, local stakeholders, and community representatives.
This inaugural workshop served as a platform to identify and discuss the key challenges of peri-urban areas, addressing issues such as mobility, energy use, green growth, and social inclusion. Through these discussions, participants jointly explored pathways toward sustainable solutions.
The outcomes of this workshop will not only contribute directly to the development of Activity 2 – the Climate Neutrality Awareness Kit, but will also lay the groundwork for the upcoming ideathon and subsequent project activities.
With this step, we reaffirm our commitment to advancing sustainable and climate-neutral peri-urban futures in Türkiye and across Europe.
