Discover Our Project Activities and Results
The core activities of PeriNEXT are designed to strengthen climate awareness, foster cross-sector collaboration, and equip VET professionals with practical tools for sustainable peri-urban development. Through these actions, the project aims to support climate-neutral transformation, build institutional capacity, and generate replicable, community-oriented solutions.
Discover Today – Brainstorm Workshop
Through national and international workshops, we bring together VET professionals and local stakeholders to collaboratively identify the challenges of peri-urban areas. Using participatory methods like SWOT analysis and thematic group work, we generate context-based insights and foster cross-sector dialogue. This activity strengthens awareness, encourages innovation, and lays the foundation for the project’s long-term solutions.
Climate Neutral – Awareness Kit
We develop a digital, open-access toolkit that includes best practices and educational content to support climate-neutral planning. The content is co-created through field data, expert input, and project workshops adapted for use by VET institutions and local authorities. It helps professionals and educators integrate sustainability into training and real-world strategies. It serves as a practical resource to inspire informed decision-making and long-term climate resilience in peri-urban development.
Design Our Tomorrow – International Ideathon
In this Ideathon, multidisciplinary teams design practical solutions to real peri-urban sustainability challenges. Participants work collaboratively to co-develop scalable and innovative ideas, guided by project insights and evolving community needs. The Ideathon promotes international cooperation, creativity, inclusive participation, and the creation of replicable, actionable, and future-oriented models for climate-smart development.
Providing Open, Practical and Multilingual Resources for VET Professionals, Educators and Local Authorities!
All results of the PeriNEXT project will be shared publicly. The outputs will be freely accessible through the project website and published in multiple languages to ensure broad reach across partner countries. Each result will be designed to be practical, visually supported, and easy to understand for VET professionals, educators, and local authorities. By making all materials openly available, the project aims to ensure long-term impact and support sustainable transformation in peri-urban areas beyond the project’s official duration.
