Designed as a two-day collaborative learning experience, the PeriNEXT “Discover Today” Brainstorm Workshop in Valongo, Portugal took place on 16-17 June 2025, successfully bringing together a diverse group of experts, VET professionals, and community stakeholders.
Türkiye
The Türkiye National Workshop was successfully held in Bursa on 6 September 2025 under Activity 2: “Discover Today.” The workshop brought together around 45-50 participants, including VET professionals, local authorities, academics, civil society representatives, and community stakeholders, to explore the current situation of peri-urban areas in Türkiye.
Belgium
Bringing together local voices in Brussels, the Belgium National Workshop of the PeriNEXT project took place on 20 November 2025, creating a dynamic space for community exchange and collaboration. The workshop provided an inclusive and welcoming environment, enabling participants to openly share experiences and ideas in a supportive setting.
Online
Connecting expertise across borders, the PeriNEXT International Virtual Workshop was successfully held online on 21 November 2025, bringing together around 40 participants from Portugal, Belgium and Türkiye. The event created a dynamic platform for cross-country exchange, enabling professionals from diverse fields to collaborate on shared peri-urban challenges and solutions.
