Türkiye – Workshop

The Türkiye National Workshop was successfully held in Bursa on 6 September 2025 under Activity 2: “Discover Today.” The workshop brought together around 45-50 participants, including VET professionals, local authorities, academics, civil society representatives, and community stakeholders, to explore the current situation of peri-urban areas in Türkiye

The event included presentations on the PeriNEXT project and the challenges of peri-urban development, followed by thematic group discussions on topics such as spatial planning, social policies, green growth, mobility, and energy. Participants engaged in collaborative analysis and conducted SWOT assessments to identify key strengths, challenges, and opportunities for sustainable and climate-neutral development.

The workshop fostered interdisciplinary dialogue and knowledge exchange, generating valuable insights that will contribute to the PeriNEXT Climate Neutral Awareness Kit and future international project activities.
