Belgium – Workshop

Bringing together local voices in Brussels, the Belgium National Workshop of the PeriNEXT project took place on 20 November 2025, creating a dynamic space for community exchange and collaboration. The workshop provided an inclusive and welcoming environment, enabling participants to openly share experiences and ideas in a supportive setting.

Through interactive discussions, participants explored key themes such as mobility, green spaces, energy use, and social inclusion, while also proposing practical, locally grounded solutions. The small-group format fostered meaningful dialogue, allowing for deeper reflection and strong community engagement.

The workshop generated valuable, experience-based insights that highlight the importance of citizen participation in shaping sustainable and climate-neutral peri-urban strategies. These contributions will play an important role in enriching the PeriNEXT project outputs and ensuring that local voices are reflected in future activities.
